Jaigoan branch clinic was set up on 1 Feb, 1996 and served the people in the area through traditional system of heatlh care.  From the initial stage, the institute has been trying to obtain land and construct a clinic, but has not been successful due to various reasons.  The high cost of rent every year and shortage of doctors also added to the problem and hence the clinic had to be closed with effect from 17 May, 2011.  The administration has taken measures to ensure and provide continuous health service to the community which is one of its main priorities.  Salugara Branch clinic was directed to visit Jaigoan once every month to give health treatment to the community there.  The resident doctor has been going for medical camp since June, 2011.
