Upcoming Projects of Clinical Research & Development Department in the year 2009 :-

  1. Dr. R.M. Pandey, Professor and Head, Deptt. of Bio Science, AIIMS, New Delhi has conducted the analysis of Clinical trial of Tibetan Medicine for the treatment of Hep. B which ended successfully in Bylakuppe Branch Clinic. Completed the analysis of Hypertension Survey conducted in the various regions of the Tibetan Community in the year 2007. Publication of the results are under process.
  1. Clinical Research on the effectiveness and safety of Traditional Tibetan Medicine in the treatment of Essential Hypertension for 6 months in Dickyiling Branch Clinic which will commence from mid April, 2009.
  1. Clinical Research on the effectiveness and safety of Traditional Tibetan Medicine as an adjunct treatment in Tuberculosis patient will initiate from the first week of May and June, 2009.
  1. Additional Study required with Dr. Sarah Sallon MBBS, MRCP (UK), Director of the Louis L. Borick Natural Medicine Research Centre, Israel to prove that Precious Pills containing mercury as Tsothel are safe and an important part of Tibetan Medicine therapeutics.
  1. Research on sudden outbreak of Epidemics and to combat with new medicines, diet and behavioural advices.
  1. After obtaining the Ethical Clearance from AIIMS, Cancer Studies in Delhi and Bangalore Branch Clinics will start.
